One more tiger safari zone opened at Ranthambhore from Jan 18

Ranthambore | January 16, 2014
Ranthambore: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve has opened one more tiger safari zone in Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary from 18th January 2014. This zone begins from Halonda on Kushalipura -Bodal road and ends at Devpura Bandh via Halonda Chowki, Baans Khoyri, Aantari. It has 20 km long area. It is known as Antari-Halonda or Zone no.10 in Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.
This zone has the tiger territories such as T-42(tiger), T-43(tiger), and T-59 (tigress). The T-13(tigress) with her cubs is the main attraction of this zone.
“According to Dy Conservator of Forests of Ranthambore Rahul Bhatnagar," this zone will be opened from 18th January 2014 and the tickets could be had from the ticket counter at Sawai Madhopur and Gypsy would be allotted for such tours. Admission Rates, Guide Fees, Vehicle rent and the in and out timings would be same as in other zones. However, the tourists can take the gypsy of their choice without roaster but with registered guide.” Sources- Dhirendra Godha
It is good way to reduce tourist pressure on the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. It is really worthy action which helps to do the monitory of the tigers by expert staff such as nature guides in the proper way. It helps to stop illegal activities due to the tourist’s movements. This step must be beneficial for the local people who will play a critical role in the conservation of the wild life.
We must care about the fair distance between vehicles and animals because the animals are not used to tourists vehicles. We should think of administrative safari vehicles that usually go off track and don’t have wild life sense. In the starting days, we must not allow movie makers because of cubs of tigress T-13 are too young. Last year, we had very horrible experiences of T-17 tigress.
For this great achievement all the credit goes to Dy Conservator of Forests of Ranthambore Rahul Bhatnagar and his team. Thank you very much Sir.
We all nature guides salute you..
Best of luck
Enjoy the new zone tiger safari
